Can other USB adapters/cables be used to charge CYCARTIS bike lights?2019-07-29T12:43:24+08:00

How does CYCARTIS light perform in the rain?2019-07-29T12:42:35+08:00

A: Our bike lights have IPX4 water resistance, which means riding in a drizzling for a short time will not affect the electronics. This protection does not apply to heavy rain conditions. However, we suggest riders to avoid prolonged riding in the rain and should they be riding in the rain they should slow down their speed as a matter of safety. Please also make sure that the charging port is completely sealed to prevent moisture from getting inside of the electronics.

Note: LED lights have IPX4 water resistance (The USB rubber cap needs to be sealed firmly). Water protection cannot be guaranteed under rainy weather conditions if any external power bank resources have been exposed to water due to an unsealed cap.

What is the life span of the battery? How can I use rechargeable battery for long periods of time?2019-07-29T12:41:25+08:00

A: Around 500 cycles of rechargeable battery is estimated to be the full life of the battery. We strongly suggest that the Lithium-Ion battery should be charged fully, until battery indicator- green shows. When the low battery indicator- red shows, it is better to charge the battery right away. Please do not wait until it’s fully discharged.

Please also recharge the battery with the lights off. Recharging with lights-on might have a great impact on the life of battery because the temperature will be increase while the battery is charging which will affect the long term performance of the battery.

What are the differences between a general bike light and CYCARTIS bike light?2019-07-30T16:32:53+08:00

A: A general bike light has no cut-off line to the sight line.  Often this will cause discomfort or dizziness for the upcoming drivers or riders in the opposite lane. CYCARTIS bike lights must have a cut-off line, which has no disturbing effect on the upcoming drivers or riders, which makes for a more user-friendly and comfortable environment for pedestrians, riders, and drivers. CYCARTIS bike light is equipped with a low battery indicator, which is a significant tool to signal to you when the battery is low for the sake of safety concerns. The side lights both on the front and rear light is required as well. You are able to see and be seen when you are on the road. We guarantee our lights are designed to increase your safety and become a protective guard around you as you ride
